Restaurants are never over-subscribed. Avenista gives you greater control over
your diary than is possible with a paper diary because it enables you to
enforce rules about what volume of business sales staff can book into your
restaurant.
As a Restaurant Manager you can set limits on the amount of covers that Sales
people and Receptionists can sell which means that when a Restaurant is nearing
capacity you can prevent them from taking further reservations without
referring to you to see whether you feel you can take the reservation. This
enables you to fine tune the final occupancy of the Restaurant and means that
you only get consulted when it really matters.
Limits can be set on the number of covers and the number of parties the
restaurant can cater for at any time-slot, sitting, and session. You can even
close particular time-slots as required, and add notes on the diary page to
inform other users about special situations – just like on a real diary.
